FOUNDED IN 1992, Cynthia Filkoff and Armand Di Biase established the firm in Bedford, New York providing outstanding quality custom residential design to discerning clients.
Today, Di Biase Filkoff Architects, PC is widely recognized for creating gracious homes, award winning versatile design and proficiently collaborating with interior designers, landscape architects, artisans, and builders.
Principals contribute in all phases of each project. Projects range in scope from country estates with multiple outbuildings to corporate office buildings and master planning for academic alterations.

CYNTHIA FILKOFF was raised in Connecticut and studied Liberal Arts in Santa Cruz, CA before earning her Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University in 1985. She attended the prestigious Florence program and traveled extensively throughout Tuscany. Cynthia apprenticed in a commercial architecture firm in New York City before gaining experience in modern and shingle style residential architecture at firms in Rye, NY and Greenwich, CT. Cynthia is licensed to practice architecture in New York and Connecticut and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, is a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, and the Bedford Historical Society. Cynthia is also the President of the Bedford Village Business Association, an organization that fosters local business and not for profit organizations with the goal of creating a better quality of life for residents and visitors in the historic hamlet of Bedford Village, NY.
She and Armand live in Pound Ridge, NY and spend summers in Old Lyme, CT with their two sons.

ARMAND DI BIASE is a lifetime resident of Westchester County. He studied architecture in Washington, DC before earning his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University in 1982. He began his career working in commercial architecture where for over twelve years he developed expertise in site evaluation, zoning analysis, and site design while working with Government and Community Agencies. Armand is a longstanding member of the American Institute of Architects and led the team for the 2017 Westchester AIA Award. Armand is licensed to practice architecture in the states of Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, South Carolina, and Florida and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He is a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art and an accomplished bass guitarist.

SHANNA BENJAMIN is a lifetime resident of Connecticut. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University in 2007 and attended the architecture program in Florence where she traveled Italy and volunteered at a local Florentine primary school. Shanna began her career at a multi-disciplinary architecture firm in Greenwich, CT where she spent nearly a decade focusing on custom residential and commercial architecture throughout Fairfield County, CT, Westchester County, NY and Long Island, NY. Shanna is licensed to practice architecture in Connecticut, is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. Shanna volunteers as a violinist for the Danbury Symphony Orchestra and as a docent for the historic Rosen House at Caramoor in Katonah, NY. Shanna lives in Danbury, CT with her husband and enjoys renovating their home, spending time with family and friends, and traveling the world.
